The ideal candidate would be a highly motivated, self-directed, enthusiastic person who works well under pressure and can thrive in a deadline driven atmosphere. They must have a strong individual sense of aesthetics and be able to bring stylish, elevated ideas to the table. In addition, they should have the ability to deliver clean, on-brand designs based on existing style guides and brand guidelines in a fast-paced environment. This position requires intrinsic design abilities, typographic skills, digital expertise, and acute attention to detail. Not only do you have the technical skills and a strong portfolio to back it up, you function as a conceptual thinker that can contribute to larger multi-channel campaigns. The ability to manage multiple projects and communicate with key stakeholders is essential.
Own the company's creative strategy around branding and content
Work cross-functionally with marketing, web development, product management teams to conceptualize and execute designs to support a wide variety of campaigns including social media, digital display ads, landing pages, email templates, presentations, create infographics, case studies, whitepapers, tradeshow and industry event collateral to support marketing initiatives for a global audience.
Design original content/ source graphics/visual elements and develop digital assets for both internal and external use that are created with the end users experience in mind.
Perform quality assurance tasks for printed and digital creative as well as Simpplr brand properties to ensure completed items are error-free and built with best practices.
Assist with UI/UX design if required
What you did in the past that makes you a great fit for our team
Should have no less than 5 years of professional experience.
Should have worked in a Lead Design, Jr. Art Director or Sr. Visualizer capacity
Proficiency in CorelDraw, Adobe Creative Suite (print, web, and video editing applications) and similar design tools
Proficient in print production and document pre-press
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
In-depth knowledge of the latest trends in creative design
Possess a high level of attention to detail and a love for pixel perfection with a keen eye for design and applied knowledge of design principles, color theory, typography, responsive layouts, and limitations of the web and printed media.
Produce digital/web deliverables that include web graphics, on-screen presentations, microsites, landing pages, banners, and email templates
Maintain a low error rate in implementing feedback and copy edits from Creative staff and internal project managers.
Ability to work on multiple projects at a time, balancing time and approach to each problem under tight deadlines with a high degree of accuracy.
Strong oral and written communication skills
An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating identity design, visual branding, campaign design, and/or packaging systems across both online and offline channels.
Portfolio exemplifying 5+ years of Visual Design experience that display product ownership in both a digital and print design capacity
Candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study (i.e. Communication Design, Visual Design, User Experience, etc.) or relevant work experience
Self-motivated and able to work independently while sharing the daily workload and status updates with the senior creative team
Candidate has worked in advertising or marketing focused multi-channel design role through an in-house creative team, preferably for a product company or a creative agency
