What is Beleco?

We stream furniture.

Our customers are companies or people that needs furniture for a period of time and want to have high end design.

At the moment, our marketplace is popular among homestyling companies, event organizer, offices and lovers of design furniture.

What have we done so far?

Beleco was founded in 2016. Our journey started when our CEO and founder, Marie, was leasing a car. She started to think about other things that you only needed for a certain period of time, and thought about furniture.

Today, three years later, we have:

A working marketplace where companies can rent furniture.
People and companies like Michelle Obama, Rammstein, Sony, Philips and Samsung have used furniture from Beleco.
Reduced carbon emission for the environment.
Created unique data about the use of furniture.
What’s our challenge?

We just raised more money and are scaling up everything in our business. To grow more conveniently, we are moving away from our current WordPress/WooCommerce stack to a stack including React, Node and Postgres. That’s where you come in. Our tech team of five want your help in building a better back-end for our marketplace.

What’s it like working here?

You will be working closely together with your colleagues. We have weekly lunches where we learn new technology. But, learning is not limited to these lunches. We always share our knowledge with each other, whether that is solving a particularly challenging bug or building a new feature.

You will have the opportunity to own a part of our system that you get autonomy over. We believe that it is important to let you and other employees have the opportunity to work on innovative solutions to problems themselves.

Who are you?

In order to thrive in the role we think:

You have experience of Node.js, PHP, MySQL, Postgres.
You have experience with Cloud Architecture like GCP, AWS or similar.
You like sharing your knowledge with your team.
You like having ownership of a part or the whole product.
